Booking, Payment and Delivery Procedures

FIRST REQUEST

Please mention your name; your tel, fax number and E-mail; the type of yacht you desire; the period you are interested to hire the boat, giving an alternative date if possible; the number of persons, if known; the area you would like to cruise and any specific request you may have. Commonly, charters start on Saturdays and end on Fridays, but you may stay on board till Saturday morning 09.00 a.m.

REQUEST FOR OPTION

From the moment you choose the boat for a specific period of time, you are given three (3) days to confirm the booking. This means that the boat is not available to anybody else untill then. The option is automatically cancelled after this period.

BOOKING

You confirm the booking by giving your name, full address,  the yacht you chose, the dates hired and the total cost of the charter. We will then issue a reference number, which you must refer in our correspondence and will mail you  the "Memorandum of Agreement" in English, already signed by us. That is the official document for the Greek Authorities.

The booking procedure is completed when you mail us back the Agreement, signed by you and a copy of the Bank swift, depositing the 50% of the total cost of the charter, to our bank account that will be provided personally to you.   

15 DAYS BEFORE THE CHARTER

At least 15 days before the beginning of your charter, we must have the full names, addresses and passport numbers of all the members of the crew, copies of the skipper's and co-skipper's sailing license (minimum 2 license per crew are required), time of your arrival and your flight number(s).

The balance of the remaining 50% of the charter should be send at this time, or else paid prior to embarkation. If paid by bank swift, remember that it takes about 10 working days to be credited to our account and that no charter departs if we haven't received the total amount agreed for it.

BEFORE EMBARKATION

The 50% balance, if not received previously, should be paid in cash, Bank certified checks in the agreed currency or Traveler's checks. 

The Security Deposit as well as any extras required (skipper,hostess, cleaning etc.) are also paid at this time and with the same payment procedure. You will be given receipts for everything you pay.

In bare-boat charters, two members of the crew are required to show the originals of their sailing license before departure.

DELIVERY OF THE BOAT

Officially, the boat is delivered at 17.00 p.m., but we always try to let you in the soonest. If you have arrived much earlier, we manage to keep your luggage and help you with your provisions for the cruise.

The skipper and the co-skipper are welcomed on board by one of us. The so-called "Check-in" takes about two hours and can only be done by daytime. If you arrive late in the evening, we just let you in and the check-in takes place the following morning.

REDELIVERY OF THE BOAT

The yacht should be back the day before your departure. The Checkout takes about two hours and can only be done in daytime also; therefore, please be back not later than 17.00 p.m. After the checkout, the Security Deposit is refunded to you. The following morning, by 09.00 a.m., you should vacate the boat.
